Historic Thomas Chapel house - Half mile from Downtown Boone

Description

Update: We are fully functional and welcoming guests after Helene! Thomas Chapel was originally built in Watauga county near Tennessee in 1886 . Decommissioned in 1967 and then bought in 1977. The church has been turned into a home which boasts a bell tower and 30 foot vaulted ceiling complete with the original hand hewn structural timbers. Nestled in a scenic hollow with a mountain stream and woods on one side and farmland on the other. Come and experience a piece of high country history.
