The cabin is located in the Domaine des Appalaches, giving you access to a beautiful lake, a scenic viewpoint and walking trails. There is electricity, tap water and fibre Wi-Fi. Other things to note You need a 4-wheel drive car in winter to access the chalet. With ice and black ice, it can be difficult to get there. The finishes of the chalets are not perfect, everything was done by hand and with a lot of love :) The main heating is the wood-burning fireplace. There are also two small heaters but the fireplace is necessary in winter. Wood for the stove is not provided, you can buy it on the way to the general store of the village Notre Dame des Bois. The water available at the chalet comes from the fountain of the estate, the water quality is not controlled, therefore it is considered non-potable.
