Welcome to “Family Footprints” in S. Forest Beach where you're just a ~10-minute walk to the beautiful beaches of Hilton Head Island, at this one story - second floor flat, with a warm beach vibe. The complex is in the heart of the Island with many conveniences within walking/biking distance such as Coligny Plaza, Celebration Park, dining, bike trails, plenty of golfing, tennis, fishing, swim, and outdoor activities that will interest everyone. The unit is decorated with a Beachy and Nautical Atmosphere. Towels and Linens: Each guest arriving at the villa will be provided a bath towel set that will contain 2 Bath Towels, 1 Hand towel, and a wash cloth. --> All bed Linens are also included. --> Please bring your own beach towels The following starter Pack is provided at the villa that should get you taken care of while you settle in for a few days. Some items may carry you through the week: Kitchen: A Large liquid dish soap bottle that will last you through more than a week 1 Dishwasher tablet 2 Laundry Tablets with a box of dryer sheets Bath: 2 Small soaps in each bath 1 large toilet Paper roll in each bath General: A bin of cleaning supplies are always left under the sink We make every attempt to always have 2 low sitting beach chairs and a 6ft umbrella at the villa. We typically keep 3 beach chairs in case one breaks. We also do our best to keep 2 "Boogie" boards at the villa along with a small igloo cooler to pack for the beach Other things to note The Island House Villa complex is in the heart of Hilton Head Island with many conveniences within walking and biking distance. We are just a ~10-minute walk to the beautiful beach shores of Hilton Head Island to a more private area where it will tend to be less busy than a public beach. Celebration Park is a 5-minute walk across the street. You will also be greeted by a shopping plaza predominately to dine at. There is an Aloha Kitchen as a healthy option but also options to get Pizza, breakfast and Mexican. An extended 5 minute walk from there will get you over to Coligny Plaza (the hear to shopping and dining) and the Coligny Public Beach. At Coligny (great atmosphere!) you can find an assortment of shops and dining areas along with ice cream and souvenir shops. There's also a "golf-cart" service that frequently drives in the area that works on tips only. Or you can use the Trolley that frequents the island all summer. We are just a couple of minutes away from it's pickup spot. Walking and biking are typically the most preferred methods of getting around for our guests. As you can see, there are many methods in getting around the island area. Some guests ask if there is a walk-out balcony on this second floor unit. There is not. But most of our guests spend their time outside by the pool. Though, we have check-in at 4pm, we do try to accommodate earlier check-ins during the non-summer weeks. And if you arrive early, you can always access and hang by the pool until the unit is ready.
