Florida Crooked Lake home

Just 1 hour from Orlando and 1.5 hours from Tampa, our home is an ideal place from which to explore central Florida, while feeling like you're coming home at night. Or just chill on the beach, enjoying the tranquility of lakefront life. Our house is 100 years old, and has been enjoyed by 5 generations of family. Bring your favorite beach gear and nothing else – the house is stocked with dishware, glassware, cookware, utensils, linens, towels, etc. Contact us for special rates. The space The home has a master BR & BA in a north "wing"; the rest of the house is an open floor plan with lots of windows for a lake view from most rooms. Two bedrooms share the main bath, which has a separate entrance to one of the bedrooms. There are two patios connected to the house, and another halfway between the house and the beach. Guest access Everything is on one level at street entry. From the lakefront side of the house, there are steps down to the patio. The walk to the lake is down a hill, which means the return to the house is uphill. The street side is level, with a very long driveway which can accommodate 5-6 cars. Other things to note This home is perfect for snowbirds with room to invite friends or extended family, or vacationers looking to relax. It is not intended for guests with short- or long-term housing needs.
