❤️ Welcome to Mauritius! We are on the northwest coast of the beautiful island of Mauritius, at the entrance to Trou aux Biches. Our apartment is in a small residence of just three apartments, with the sea across the road. A public pathway, about 100m away, leads to a charming little beach and the lagoon. Trou aux Biches Beach is just a few minutes by car or a 15-minute walk, with its crystal-clear waters. We have all amenities onsite including a saltwater pool and high-speed WiFi. The space We only have three apartments on the property, one on the ground floor, one on the first floor and the penthouse on the second floor with a view of the ocean and the swimming pool. The apartments can accommodate four adults. The apartments are off the coastal road and the sea is on the other side of the road. This apartment is located on the first floor consisting of one ventilated king-size bedroom fitting a large ceiling fan but air-conditioning as extra, a large patio, a living with a fully equipped kitchenette (fridge/refrigerator, gas stove, microwave, kettle, flat-screenTV, toaster, coffee maker… including a complete set of cooking utensils). Our fully equipped laundry room features a washing machine and ironing equipment. The apartment can be booked flexibly depending on the number of guests: • For 2 guests: one bedroom is provided at the basic rate, or • For 3 or 4 guests: the apartment is available on a separate listing. The apartment has a covered outdoor area with a barbecue, perfect for enjoying your morning coffee, having a relaxed lunch or sharing a meal with family and friends. You can also relax in the garden and enjoy our saltwater swimming pool, which is particularly pleasant after a day exploring the island or spending time at the beach or enjoy our high-speed fibre-optic WiFi free of charge. Depending on availability Guest access You can relax in the garden as well as in the saltwater pool. Each apartment is private and there is a common private-owned parking adjacent to the property if ever you rent a car. All necessary outdoor facilities, chairs, deck-chairs, tables ... are provided for each apartment. If you don't find something, just name it! And if you want to try our Séga (typical Mauritian dance), then dare give it a try at La Voile Bleue, The Skipper Restaurant or le Veranda Hotel, one minute's walk from our property or enjoy a bicycle ride on the beach ! One of the great advantages of our location is that essential services are easily accessible without having to travel far. Within the immediate surroundings, you will find: * local shops; * supermarkets approximately 100 metres away; * a currency exchange office; * car and scooter rental services; * several bars and restaurants; * a pizzeria; * a medical practice; * a taxi stand; * a bus stop right next to the residence. Nearby restaurants and establishments include Cabane du Filaos, Cabane du Pêcheur, La Voile Bleue, Le Skipper Restaurant, Max Shop... For those wishing to experience the local atmosphere and culture, a Sega evening, featuring traditional Mauritian music and dancing, is also available just a few minutes' walk away. Our location also makes it easy to reach different parts of the island while avoiding the traffic as much as possible in the north. Port Louis and the island's other main regions are easily accessible, and the nearby bus stop provides convenient access to various tourist attractions. If you would like to explore Mauritius independently, we can also assist you with arranging car or scooter rental. Other things to note The complex is well maintained and secure with private patrol. As the owners, we are happy to welcome you personally upon arrival and assist you throughout your stay. Upon request, we can help arrange: * airport transfers, both ways; * land excursions; * boat trips; * various activities and excursions around the island; * shopping trips. Our goal is to help you enjoy your stay with peace of mind while benefiting from personal advice and assistance whenever needed. Just a few steps from the apartment, our neighbour offers small homemade Mauritian meals for dinner, available by order and at small fee. It is a wonderful opportunity to discover some of the authentic flavours of Mauritius during your stay. If ever you are hiring a contract car, we can help to get you a good deal via a registered contract car agency. Air conditioning is extra at MUR 250 (€ 5) per day and per room. It is advisable for you to decide on-site as we have only two seasons and large ceilings fans. To ensure a comfortable and transparent stay, a check-in inspection is carried out in your presence upon arrival. You will have the opportunity to check the apartment and immediately let us know if you notice anything that requires attention. As part of our check-in procedure, guest identities are verified and a photo of the passport identification page may be taken for registration and security purposes, in accordance with local regulations. A refundable security deposit of €50 or €100 may also be requested upon arrival and will be returned after the check-out inspection, provided there are no issues. Our apartments are reserved and rented exclusively to foreign guests and we also have the license from the Tourism Authority of Mauritius.
