Description
Located on the ground floor of The Willis-James bed & breakfast in an older part of the house, this quaint room is ADA accessible with queen bed, open shower concept, in-bedroom vanity, and comfortable reading chair. The historic blue of the mantle, accented by a marble tile hearth, flawlessly blends with the bold colors of a rag cloth rug. STR#45882 The space Throughout the history of 58 W. 5th, there were numerous women who have been the bedrock in establishing and preserving this home as a beacon in Chillicothe society. For nearly 100 years the house was passed down through the matrilineal line of Ellen Tiffin Cook, daughter of the first governor of Ohio Edward Tiffin. We pay our respect to all these dignified and hospitable ladies by naming, what has always been considered, the "Matrons Room". Guest access This room is on the first floor and is accessible by an exterior ramp to the guest entrance. The bathroom includes grab bars adjacent to the shower and toilet. Other things to note Breakfast is included and consists of local, fresh ingredients.
