Board Gamers Getaway Cabin

Nestled on a secluded lot between Hood Canal and the Olympic Forest, this 2BR cabin is a board gaming paradise, offering relaxation and fun for up to 7 guests. Our full kitchen is stocked with essentials for cooking meals and mixing drinks (cocktail shaker and blender available) with a large table for dining and gaming. Perfect for a fall getaway with gorgeous surroundings, the cabin is stocked with popular games such as Settlers of Catan, Wingspan, Risk, Ticket to Ride, and dozens more! The space This stylish 2BR cabin, freshly renovated with a new kitchen and gorgeous features around the home, comes stocked with games, movies, and a full kitchen for cooking meals together. Three queen-sized beds are upstairs, with two beds in the larger room and one in the other. Both rooms have new mattresses, a comfortable reading chair, and blackout blinds to help you get a good night's sleep. The larger room also has a desk by the window. Downstairs, a pull-out couch provides comfortable sleeping for one more adult (or two small people), for a total occupancy of 7 guests. An air purifier in the main room removes airborne contaminants, including dust, pollen, mold, bacteria and other allergens. Our newly remodeled kitchen provides plenty of space and tools for cooking and enjoying a meal together around the large dining room table. Coffee maker, coffee grinder, toaster, blender, and hot water kettle are all available, as well as plenty of pots and pans and utensils. Our gorgeous, new bathroom, has a full bath/shower and fresh linens, and a full washer/dryer is available for your use. The cabin also comes with a wide variety of games, including a small game table with mini billiards, foosball, push hockey, table tennis, as well as dozens of board games, card games, and puzzles. Dice, poker chips, and a Cribbage board also available, as well as bocce ball for outdoor play. The outdoor firepit area has Adirondack chairs for your full party to enjoy early morning coffee or evening s'mores by the fire. A supply of firewood is available. You may have the occasional wildlife visit, mainly deer or elk, and a bald eagle nest on the property makes for frequent sightings. We hope your Brinnon Cabin Getaway is full of relaxation and fun! Guest access Guests have full use of the cabin and surrounding yard. The newly graveled driveway marks the property line and signs help guests stay clear of neighboring properties. Brinnon, found on scenic US Hwy-101 alongside Hood Canal, is about 45 minutes from the Kingston ferry terminal if you cross from Edmonds, about an hour's drive from the Bainbridge ferry terminal if coming from Seattle, and just over an hour if driving north from Olympia. The cabin sits on the edge of the Olympic National Forest, outside The Brothers Wilderness area, with multiple access points close by. We're also minutes away from beautiful waterfalls and rivers and forest trails for hiking. Multiple state parks are within a short drive, including Triton Cove and Dosewallips State Parks, both less than five minutes away. You'll find multiple activities you can enjoy along the Hood Canal waterfront, including oyster shucking, clamming, diving, kayaking, and beach combing. Other things to note Smart TV, Blu-Ray player, and wi-fi internet are available. We also have dozens of DVDs and Blu-Ray discs to choose from for a fun movie night.
