The space Holmwood Cottage was virtually derelict when purchased in 2021 and has since been lovingly restored to all is former glory - perhaps even above and beyond its former glory! We have retained the traditional feel of the cottage but with the functionality of a far more modern property. There is parking for up to four cars at the front of the house. Downstairs is the cosy living room with TV and DVD player plus a sofabed. The kitchen is large, bright and spacious with french doors leading to the patio and garden. The units and appliances are brand new as of July 2022. There is a washer/dryer, dishwasher and large fridge freezer. Plastic cups, plates, cutlery etc is provided for children. The kitchen is accessed via the spacious dining room with seating for up to six people, plus a high chair. Upstairs are two double bedrooms and a bathroom complete with freestanding bath, a large shower cubicle and underfloor heating. The master bedroom contains a king size bed. Bedroom 2 contains two single beds and there is also a foldaway bed and a cot available if needed. Outside is a beautiful garden with large patio, a children's play area with swings and a slide and a barbecue. The house is in a quiet, peaceful area and there are stunning views from the bedrooms across the fields full of horses and ponies opposite the house, especially during the evenings when the sun is setting. Please be aware that the stairs are quite steep, however there are handrails on both sides and a there is a gate across the top of the stairs to help prevent any accidents. Guest access Guests have exclusive access to the entire property. Other things to note This is a traditional 1920's cottage and the stairs are quite steep. As such, the property may not be suitable for the elderly or people with mobility issues.
