Our cozy space is nestled in the heart of Belmont. It's a perfect location for a Charlottesville visit. This is a top floor apartment, and there is another basement apartment beneath it where the hosts, Riley and Caro, live. You have exclusive access to the back yard and hot tub during your visit! PLEASE NOTE: As shown in photos, we live in a high-density area with neighbors on either side - we recommend using the hot tub at night to get a maximum sense of privacy. Some helpful info about the space: We do own a dog named Cowboy. We keep him leashed on walks, and don't let him run free in the backyard if there are tenants upstairs. There is a shared space in basement which contains a washer and dryer. Entry to this space is locked between units. If you do want to use the washer/dryer, please just let us know, and we will unlock the space from our side so you can come and go as you please. The house is on a relatively busy street in Belmont. You shouldn't hear any noise inside the house, but important information if you're bringing children or a dog :) There is one dedicated off-street parking space provided for renters. Other vehicles may park directly in front of the home using the free street parking. We're around 24/7! We live in the apartment beneath yours, so we can easily deal with any issues should they arise. Belmont is a lovely neighborhood that is highly sought after from locals and travelers alike. It is walkable to downtown Charlottesville while also hosting several of it's own neighborhood restaurants and shops. The location is very walkable and there are also rentable scooters, E-Bikes, and rideshares available for even quicker commutes. This is an LGBTQIA friendly space and we welcome people from all nationalities, races, cultures, religions, and neurodiverse backgrounds.
