Villa Margot is a delightful retreat on a ridgetop above Langley, quiet, peaceful, five minutes from town. A fir tree-lined gravel drive takes you up the ridge. Villa Margot has a cozy sleeping room with comfy double bed, galley kitchenette/eating area overlooking our vineyard to the south, upscale bathroom with large shower, pleasant deck with BBQ grill, table and chairs. The design is influenced by a turn of the center historic building incorporated into its construction. GENERATOR ON SITE. The space The cottages are a combination of an old historic Whidbey Telephone building and new construction, with unique cedar lap siding facades, with sunny deck equipped with tables, chairs, umbrella and bbq. An outdoor common firepit is located in the forest nearby. Each cottage has two dedicated parking spaces, accessed by our country forest lane, 3/8 mile up to the ridge top surrounded by fir trees, owls, deer and of course, a few rabbits, and lots of bird-life. Guest access Guests have entire cottage, self check-in and two parking spaces. keypad entry lock. Five steps to entry deck. Other things to note Our forested ridge is home to a diverse bird population with song birds, quail and predator birds such as red tailed hawks, Bard and Horned owls, and eagles; coyotes and deer are common morning visitors to the vineyard. Our fir and cedar trees are majestic and beautiful, attracting woodpeckers, fur squirrels and Stellar Jays. The hosts family compound is further up the ridge. Langley is three to five minutes by car and bike.
