This comfortable and well-appointed apartment is the entire 1st floor/separate unit of our 2-family home and the courtyard. We provide everything guests need to feel at home. We’re located a mile/5-minute drive from downtown in Mt. Adams, a unique hilltop neighborhood. Leave your car parked in the on-street spot reserved for guests and take a short walk to Eden Park, the Art Museum, Playhouse in the Park, the Krohn Conservatory, and the neighborhood coffee shop, restaurants, bars, and salons. The apartment is comfortable and homey with wood floors and large windows. There are 2 bedrooms (one king bedroom and one queen bedroom), a family room, a kitchen, and one full bathroom. A hallway with low clearance (6’2”) for a short section leads from the king bedroom/family room to the rest of the apartment. There is a sizeable courtyard with a dining table, seating, and a charcoal grill for guests’ use. The apartment is ideal for families with young children as we have a stroller, portable wooden crib, high chair, toys and books. We take great pride in maintaining a very clean and welcoming space for our guests. Guests have access to wifi, youtube tv, and Netflix for entertainment. The kitchen is fully equipped with cookware, serving dishes, cutlery, plates, pots, pans and skillets, a microwave, gas range, Keurig and pods, small coffee pot and ground coffee, and toaster. We provide toiletries and a blow dryer is available, as well as an iron and ironing board. We will let our guests in and show them around if we are upstairs when they arrive. We don't intrude but are available to troubleshoot and are always happy to give recommendations. We are a hilltop neighborhood in the center of many of the City's wonderful attractions- Eden Park, Playhouse in the Park, Cincinnati Art Museum, and Krohn Conservatory. Walk or take a short drive to Fountain Square, the riverfront parks (Smale, Sawyer Point, International Friendship Park), Freedom Center, Reds & Bengals stadiums, Contemporary Arts Center, Aronoff Center for the Performing Arts, & Taft Theater. The Pendleton Arts Center, Museum Center, TQL Stadium, Shakespeare Theater, Ludlow Garage, Over the Rhine, Music Hall, Washington Park, Findlay Market, Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Gardens, & Newport Aquarium are all within a short drive. There are many, many great restaurants and drinking establishments within a 2-mile radius. You can get everywhere in Mt. Adams by walking. You can walk to Eden Park, the Art Museum, the Playhouse, the riverfront, and downtown. The walk back up from the riverfront or downtown is a bit strenuous and is not recommended at night. We are about a 5-8 minute Lyft or Uber ride from downtown. The #1 bus will take you downtown and back during the day. Once downtown, the street car runs from the riverfront to Findlay Market/Washington Park and is free. We are flexible on check-in and check-out times when possible. So long as other guests aren't checking in or out, we will accommodate early check-in and late check-out requests.
