Description
Enjoy off-grid vibes while being right in the heart of the North Shore. Located 5 minutes from Split Rock Lighthouse, Wild Pines Cabin is a completely renovated 1974 a-frame that sits atop 40 private acres overlooking Lake Superior. During your stay, hike through the property, catch glimpses of wildlife, sip coffee by the fire while taking in the sunrise over the lake, or step out to nearby Gooseberry, Black Beach, or Tettegouche. A beautifully private north woods retreat any time of year! The space Wild Pines Cabin is a unique 1,200 square foot a-frame with 3 bedrooms/2 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances, cozy common spaces, smart TV, dedicated desk workspace, large windows showcasing panoramic lake views, a brick gas fireplace, year-round sunroom, and three outdoor decks. Follow us on Insta at @wildpinescabin for more photos and info! Guest access Guests have full access to the cabin, attached garage, and surrounding property, with the exception of the detached garage/shed. Access to the washing machine is limited to guests staying 4+ nights. Other things to note -Absolutely no weddings/elopements with more than 6 guests present on the property at any given time. -The upstairs bedroom with queen bed is an open area without a private door. -Being an off-grid type of property, we're limited to satellite wifi. It's usually fast enough for video calls and streaming but ultimately subject to signal strength and number of devices on the network. -The staircase is steep so guests with young children or limited mobility should be mindful of this when booking. -Black flies can be a problem up and down the North Shore. While we have the cabin professionally sprayed, we are in the middle of the woods so you may encounter flies, mosquitos, and other insects during your stay. -A 4-wheel-drive vehicle is required for accessing the cabin during months with potential for snow/ice (usually late November - March).
