Waterfront Beach House on Georgian Bay

Our waterfront, 4 season cottage is nestled in the trees overlooking the crystal clear water of Georgian Bay with direct access to the wide, sandy beach. Expansive views and spectacular sunsets. Featuring a gas fireplace, rustic pine floors and wrap around windows - ideal for your next vacation. Tennis, snowshoeing, cross country (Mountainview) & downhill skiing (Mt. St Louis Moonstone), skating, cycling/hiking trails, golf, go-karting and horseback riding nearby. 90 mins from GTA. The space Built in 1940, the Beach House received a substantial update in 2017 with a new high efficiency furnace and hot water tank, as well as wiring and plumbing improvements. It offers 1330 square feet of living space. Wifi is high speed and service is excellent. The lower level has been converted into a TV and play room - featuring a sectional sofa with a pull-out queen bed - ideal for accommodating friends or family. Guest access You will have the entire beach house and deck, and a closer to the beach patio area for your exclusive use. The beach itself is "public" as is all waterfront in Tiny -- but a "crowded" day just means you'll see a few other people with camp chairs on the beach. A small bunkie above the garage is not available for your use. Other things to note The water is quite shallow with a sandy bottom and suitable for younger children on a calm day. On a windy day, the waves can get quite large - lifejackets are strongly recommended for children. The cottage may not be suitable for people with mobility challenges as there are are two sets of very short stairways with railings that you will need to use to access the cottage from the road (safe but not suitable for wheelchair access); and there is a pathway of uneven, concrete steps without a handrail to access the beach. The pine floor in the main living area is original to the cottage and a bit uneven in places. The mattresses on all the beds are new (purchased in 2017/2018) - and are on the firm side. The mattress on the pull-out couch in the lower level, also new, is "medium" with a soft-foam topper. There is free parking for up to three vehicles - two outside and one inside the covered garage (pick-up the garage door opener in the cottage upon arrival). Parking is otherwise prohibited along the road or off the property itself (and tickets are common - especially in the summer season) - so be sure to use the spaces on our property for your vehicles.
