Welcome to The Lewis River Treehouse overlooking the Lewis River in Woodland, Washington. Located 45 minutes from Portland, the scenic Lewis River offers some of the best salmon and steelhead opportunities in the region. The cabin is in an ideal location to launch your outdoor adventures and you'll find everything you'll need for the perfect getaway. The space About the Area: The Lewis River Treehouse is just a few miles from the popular "Meat Hole" Boat Launch and the Haapa Boat Launch. Fishing guide recommendations are available. The cabin is near Gifford Pinchot National Forest, The Mount St. Helens National Volcanic Monument, The Lower Lewis River Falls, Lake Merwin Park, The Ape Caves, Lucia Falls, The Lewis River Golf Course, The Cedar Creek Grist Mill and Moulton Falls Regional Park. If hiking and exploring are on your wishlist, the region has an abundance of opportunities. Our guests also enjoy several nearby vineyards, gardens and berry farms. The Ilani Casino is a 25 minute drive and features the Pacific Northwest's premier gaming, dining and entertainment establishment. About the Lewis River Treehouse: The main floor features two bedrooms, one bathroom and a well stocked kitchen. The rental includes a coffee pot and espresso machine including supplies. You'll find the kitchen is well appointed for your cooking needs. The floorpan is open with a comfortable living room, dining room table with six chairs, four bar stools and an entertainment cart including an assortment of books, puzzles and games. The main floor also features a large deck overlooking the river with a charcoal BBQ grill and patio furniture. The full size washer and dryer are also on the main floor. Strong WiFi of 94 mbps allows for work and streaming when necessary. The lower level has a separate entrance and includes two queen beds, a work desk, microwave, mini- fridge and bathroom. A Pack ‘n Play is available in the guest room closet. Smoking is allowed OUTSIDE only. The Lewis River and surrounding area is a special place. Laid back lazy days, reading a book, fishing or kayaking are great ways to pass the time. We welcome your additions to the guestbook on the coffee table. Pet Policy: We provide waste bags and guests are responsible for bagging up any waste created by their pet while on the property. We’ve provided a vacuum and broom in the entry closet. Guests with pets are responsible for giving the cabin a hearty “de-furring” before check-out. No more than two dogs are permitted to stay at one time. All dogs must be completely house trained and out of the “chewing on everything” stage, otherwise they must be crated. A dog bed, medium size crate and food/water bowls are available for use in the master closet. Pet parents agree to be responsible for any damage caused by their pets (or people) during their stay. Pets guests will be charged an additional cleaning fee of $50 paid separately. Check Out: Check out is at 11am. Please double check for personal belongings. If you would like to help, please strip the beds and leave the sheets on top of the washing machine. Please place trash in the lidded garbage can on the deck and load dishes in the dishwasher. Please alert is if anything breaks so we can make the necessary repairs for the next guest.
