PEJERREY/GRUNION Every year, El Golfo de Santa Clara in Sonora is the setting for the spawning of the Pejerrey/Grunion/Silverside, an endemic species of the Sea of ​​Cortez that spawns right on the shore of the beach. Between March and May or even until June, visitors can appreciate a unique spectacle in which the coast is dyed silver for a few seconds.
