Manganui Cottage is situated on a South Wairarapa dairy farm, tucked under the Remutaka Ranges just off the Western Lake Road. After over 100 years as the home of farm owners and workers alike, it has begun a new chapter in it's history as a holiday home. This two bedroom cottage with a spacious living area provides peace and quiet while still being in easy reach of popular South Wairarapa towns and all that they have to offer. Very close proximity to the East West Access Rd. The space Ocean Beach is handy, Lake Ferry an easy drive, or make it a day trip to Cape Palliser. The cottage can be easily accessed from the popular cycle trail and is in close proximity to a DOC walking track into the Remutaka Forest Park. Choose to relax in the outdoors or enjoy the warmth of the fire indoors on a cooler day. Explore the local environment or venture further afield. Cottage has two queen bedrooms and a pull out double sofa bed. Open plan living dining and kitchen. Separate toilet, laundry and bathroom. Guest access You will have access to the full house and section during your stay. Other things to note This is a working farm - please be aware of the vehicles, livestock and people going about the business of farming. The cottage is tucked away from the busier part of the property but please keep in mind the usual on farm hazards.
