It is the ideal base to explore the world famous Jurassic Coast and wide range of attractions Dorset has to offer. The living room is at the rear of the property and is the perfect place to either relax in front of the Smart TV or sit with views out towards the rear garden enjoying a book. The dining room is set up for four people. Outside, the garden is mainly laid to lawn with patio area to catch the summer sun or enjoy a night under the uninterrupted night sky. For the walkers among us, you do not have to go far to find the perfect location. May’s Wood is approximately 5 minutes away and is a place of natural beauty which has been designed for locals to enjoy the relaxing walks among the woodlands and open green land. Further afield you can take a walk along the coastline where you will find landmarks like Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove. This is one trip where you do not want to forget the camera. If you are looking to venture further afield you can visit the historic town of Dorchester, where you will find local restaurants, pubs, shops, and museums. Poole Harbour is approximately a 25-minute drive. This is the second largest natural harbour in the world and home to the famous Brownsea Island where you need to keep an eye out for the red squirrels. Regular pleasure boat trips are offered around the harbour and to Brownsea Island. Back at the property Monkey World and Bovington Tank Museum are just minutes away, and local attractions such as Sculpture by the Lakes are a beautiful day out where you can either relax around the lakes or explore the stunning gardens.
