Hawthorne Cottages Pioneer

The Pioneer cottage is two stories and boasts a separate dining room and views of the lake on both sides. It has a large kitchen and pine walls throughout. Please read through all listing information to ensure that this cottage is a good fit for your needs. The space There's a straight shot from the front door down the boat ramp to the lake. Pine interior goes beautifully with the pine trees around. This is our only 2 story cottage and has the most space. A separate dining room overlooks the peaceful fen on the other side of the lake from the rest of our cottages, while the front windows face the beach and the rest of the cottages. The 55" smart TV can connect to your favorite accounts for cozy evenings. Guest access Our cottages are accessed off of Meadow Rd / Rt 121. Off of Meadow Rd, some very lightly trafficked roads (some dirt, some paved) run throughout our cottages which are used mostly for guests to go to and from the cottages. All cottages have at least one dedicated parking space, most have two, and there is extra parking room in our cottage neighborhood for more. The sandy beach and grassy shore area is communal and many guests use the roads around the cottages for walking. There is a communal laundry shed with equipment freely available to do laundry as well as extra household supplies should you need them. Please see the guest manual for more information about the laundry shed. Other things to note This cottage is in a quiet neighborhood of cottages. Our guests need to be interested in a quiet stay without loud music, parties, or late night revelry. Please note that this cottage does not have any air conditioning or heating. FALL UPDATE: the cottage docks are now taken up onto the beach and so there are no docks in the water for guest use. This also lessens the open area of the waterfront available for lounging etc. The cottages themselves are unchanged and there is still open waterfront lawn.
