The linen closet has all the sheets and towels you will need during your stay. The kitchen is stocked with dishes, flatware, cookware, and some basic condiments. Note there is no television: the night sky provides evening entertainment. Guest access The guest suite is a self-contained two-bedroom apartment with a kitchen and access to shared laundry. A screened “Guest Retreat” offers private, relaxed outdoor seating with views of Western Mountain. WiFi internet access is included. Other things to note This residence is gay friendly. Bar Harbor and Mount Desert Island merchants do not particularly cater to queer tourists. However, there are some gay-owned businesses and welcoming congregations on the island.
