Perched on top of the 90-year-old Pepper Bourbon Distillery, this condo is for the Lexington visitor who likes to be in the middle of the action. The Top Shelf is perfect for a discerning couple, an adventuring family, or for a group of fun-seekers. Note, this is not an event space and we no longer welcome large parties. Three bedrooms, two bath, with an industrial feel "The Top Shelf was designed to create a connection with Kentucky history in luxurious surroundings. Our guests will be renting the entire space. Access is 48 steps above the Goodfellas Patio. Well worth the climb! My husband and I live within a 5 minute drive and will be available via cell when needed. When staying at The Top Shelf you will be literally on top of Lexington's favorite pizza pub, Goodfella's Pizza. Within the distillery are Crank & Boom Ice Cream, Ethereal Brewing, The Burl and various other cool spots. You are 15 minutes from Bluegrass Field, Lexington's airport and 30 minutes from great Bourbon Trail distilleries. You're at the heart of it all. Guest will be given four parking spaces. Lyft and Uber are a great choice from this location. The space is one of a kind. We completely understand that it may not be for everyone. It is forty feet up in air. It is on top of a bar that frequently has live music. It is adjacent to a distillery with the smell of cooking bourbon. The industrial air conditioners for the restaurants are also on the roof, and can be a little noisy (earplugs provided). But everyone who has stayed has LOVED it! It is in the middle of the action and overlooking everything. It's cool, unique, with three patios and you can grab a giant slice of pizza and a craft cocktail by simply walking downstairs. Note, while kids are welcome, they need to be watched closely, given the 3 patios with railings and the steps leading up to the condo.
