Oceanfront condo in gated Palmas del Mar resort, steps from the beach and next to the Wyndham Hotel. Features a balcony with golf and pool views, central A/C, 2 Smart TVs, full kitchen, and dining area. Short walk to the beach, private pool, and golf course. Peaceful, family-friendly, and fully equipped for your tropical escape. Palmas Del Mar has many things to offer restaurants, two golf courses, tennis, kids park, bike and walking trails, horse back riding. The space Bedroom: The master bedroom has a king size bed with a flat screen Smart TV for streaming and/or cable tv which comes with the unit. The large window allows for a gorgeous view of the golf course. An inside door leads to the balcony from the master bedroom which is really convenient. There is a good sized closet for hanging up clothes or storing belongings. Inside the closet, there will also be an Iron, ironing board, and a baby pack-and-play crib available. Other Sleeping options: Besides the king size bed in the main bedroom, the unit’s sofa converts into a full size pull out sofa bed. There is an additional very comfortable futon located in the loft, the upper level (entrance area), that can be used as a bed if needed. Please note that the air conditioner does not service the loft, but a fan is provided if needed. Living Room: When the sofa is not being used to sleep, you find yourself in a very cozy and comfortable area with a second flat screen Smart TV equipped with cable. The unit also has Wi-Fi for any internet needs. There is a beautiful view of the golf course out of the living room window and a side door that leads to the balcony. Kitchen: Equipped with most of everything you need to dine in. There is an electric stove, refrigerator, coffee maker, and a microwave. We have a dinner table with four chairs for your use. Dishes, glassware, silverware, and cookware are also available. Bathroom: The unit comes with a full bathroom complete with towels and hairdryer. The main bathroom has a full size tub with shower and is located on the lower level of the unit. Utility Room: Here you will find the beach chairs, cooler, beach umbrella, puddle jumpers, and kids beach toys. The stackable washer and dryer is for the cleaning team use. It can be used by guests if need and if in working condition (Note: Laundry detergent is NOT provided for guests due to any possible allergic ingredients that any specific detergent may have). Balcony Area: It's the most popular area of the unit! The balcony has a table with four chairs where you can sit and watch players play a hole on the golf course or stare out to beautiful view while enjoying your tropical drinks! (Catching the morning sunrise with a good cup of coffee is highly recommended!) Access to the pool: Guests who stay at the unit have access to the Beach Village pool which is only steps away. We will leave our wristband that has a key fob for entry access. Several beach towels are available and beach chairs and sun umbrella are provided for your convenience when taking your break at the beach. The Wyndham Resort offers Casino, two championship courses (Palm and Flamboyan), Tennis Center with 13 clay/hard courts, the famous Mandara Spa, and 11 restaurants and lounges throughout the resort. Our apartment is inside the Palmas del Mar Resort (Wyndham Palmas Beach golf resort). The golf course around our apartment is the Palm Course. Our balcony faces the Hole 5 Tee. Honestly, the pictures do not do it justice. All you have to do is go down the stairs and turn left to the beach or turn right to walk directly to the pool. It doesn't get any better than that! There is tons to do at Palmas. Every time we visit, we find a new hiking trail, biking route, gorgeous views, or another great place to eat! Guest access Guests have access to all rooms of this villa. Other things to note IMPORTANT AND NEED TO KNOW INFORMATION: The apartment is located on a SECOND FLOOR and you must climb the stairs to enter, since NO ELEVATORS are available in most of the Beach Village buildings. The apartment's ceramic tile flooring can be slippery when wet, so please use extra caution on stairs, in the bathroom, and kitchen. This is a golf resort, there will be people golfing throughout the day, mainly in the weekends. It is a safe place to relax and recharge. If you want to be near the hustle and bustle of the city, we honestly suggest to view accommodations in the San Juan area. Puerto Rico's electrical grid remains weakened from the effects of hurricane Maria and other storms. Please be aware that power outages, even as they are less frequent from previous years, are still a possibility. **In case of power outages, the building is NOT equipped with a power generator** The apartment is equipped with power surge protectors (2000 Joules) located in various outlets. We encourage our guests to use the surge protectors when plugging in their electronic devices prevent any damage to their equipment. It is also equipped with battery powered fan and lamps.
