Dolphin Cottage is a relaxing, family cottage in Flushing near Falmouth in Cornwall, sleeping 6 in 3 bedrooms. Upstairs is a comfy sitting room, double bunk room and modern fully fitted kitchen with dining area leading out onto a roof terrace, great for coffee or drinks. Downstairs you will find a large family bathroom & 2 double bedrooms. The multi terraced garden has a bbq and dining area along with a sheltered sunny lounging deck and views over the bay to Falmouth . The space THE HOUSE Originally dating from the mid 1800's the cottage, extended and changed over the years, is arranged with its living accommodation to the upper level and bedrooms and bathroom to the lower. ​ To the first floor there is a roomy, comfy sitting room to the front of the house with an open plan fitted kitchen and dining area to the rear. There is also a smaller two person bunk room upstairs. French doors and cafe style window from the dining space lead onto a small dining / roof terrace with further stairs accessing up to the higher deck and garden areas. ​ To the ground floor are two double bedrooms, a utility area and well laid out family bathroom with a open wet room shower and roll top bath. ​ Outside at ground level is a doggie/ wet gear shower area.​​ The cottage is furnished in a colourful, eclectic style, mixing super comfy 'Loaf' sofas with some antique and modern furniture and very comfy beds! The kitchen is fully equipped for your stay and had a large fridge freezer, dishwasher, induction hob and double oven. There is a washing machine and tumble dryer in the utility area. One off-street parking space is available with the cottage, as well as on-street parking outside. Dolphin Cottage has high speed internet access thoughout & a Smart TV and casting in the sitting room. We have lots of books for adults and children to read and some board games for your entertainment. THE GARDEN We love the outdoor space at Dolphin Cottage and know you will too. The dining area roof terrace offers seating for your morning coffee or alfresco dining, whilst the main steps lead up to a wooden lounge deck with comfy seating for catching the sun. Further steps up to a sheltered, paved dining /BBQ terrace. ​ The terraced style garden, stocked with traditional Cornish plants and shrubs affords good privacy & offers lots of different areas to sit and enjoy the sunshine and the water views. ​ The garden is set on a fairly steep side slope and does have a lot of steps - please do ask us about suitability should you have young children or have access issues.
