Located at the top of Raches Hill overlooking Skopelos Town, Villa Driades is the perfect retreat for families or friends looking for a relaxed island stay. Built from traditional stone, our home has authentic character, with original wooden ceilings and sea-facing windows offering panoramic mountain views. The property’s private pool and spacious yard makes Villa Driades the ideal holiday home. The space As a two story home, Villa Driades offers a comfortable base for easy island living. On the first floor, you’ll find an open-plan living, dining, and kitchen space. It includes a comfortable seating area with a TV and a dining area for shared meals. The kitchen is fully equipped with an oven/stovetop and air fryer. Additional amenities include washing machine, air conditioning, and free WIFI throughout the property. A half bathroom is also conveniently located on this level. A unique feature of this home are the beautiful antique furniture pieces that were crafted by Skopelos woodcarpenters almost a century ago. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with two single beds that can be combined into a queen. Each bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom for added comfort and privacy. Both rooms open onto private balconies with views of the sea and surrounding mountains; you can even see the neighboring island of Alonissos in the distance. Villa Driades is rented out as a whole and it is totally private. The guests have full access to the house and the garden, including the pool and the parking space. Distances from points of interest: • 5,1 km (12 minutes by car) away from Skopelos Town Port and parking • 4,4 km (11 minutes by car) away from the market (Supermarket, restaurants, shopping) • 3,3 km (8 minutes by car) away from the nearest beach - Glyfoneri Beach • 21,7 km (40 minutes by car) away from Mamma Mia Church (Agios Ioannis Church) IMPORTANT INFORMATION Guests should have a car in order to move around. The last 200 meters of the road leading from Skopelos Town to the villa are part of a dirt road. Most of the taxi companies will either not drive you all the way to the villa or charge you extra for driving on a dirt road. The use of barbeque facilities is restricted during the summer months ( June, July and August). Greek authorities prohibit open fires during these months due to the high risk of wildfires.
