For the active, put your kayak in at Globe Cove, or bike, hike/ jog to enjoy the winding North Lubec Road’s many memorable vistas. Just a 10 minute drive to Quoddy Head and the famous lighthouse. Enjoy the regions many hiking trail systems, or the village restaurants. Lubec provides great views at every turn , fresh locally caught seafood and opportunities for wildlife viewing, includes eagles, seals and whales. The space This is a small space that packs a punch! It is set well off the main road. Private parking in drives on either side of house. This cottage overlooks a real working waterfront, so keep in mind that these are farmers who have to go looking for their crops every day. Access to the waterfront depends on guests being respectful of the fishermen, who pay my neighbor for their own access. Stony beach is an excellent place to launch your kayak. There are kayak rental companies in the area who will deliver kayaks to you if you don't have one or don't want to lug a kayak that far. Roger's Island features picnic tables on the East side. Full kitchen, features all the amenities, a breakfast bar sits next to the stove and the dining area can double as a workspace. The deck features a complement of chairs and a gas grill. The bedroom has a queen size bed and guests 3 and 4 can couch surf or bunk down on a comfy air mattress, with automatic pump. The full bath does have a narrow entry to the shower/tub, so if you have difficulty getting into a regular tub, you should probably find a place with better access in that regard. If that is the case, I am sorry for the inconvenience, but your safety is a priority.
