DESCRIPTION of SPACE This listing is for the ground floor apartment in a 3-unit building in Lockport NY. You'll have the entire two-bedroom apartment to yourself. Each bedroom has a queen bed, and sofa-bed in the living room. This large apartment suits 6 guests. PARKING - Not on premises, Street parking during the day, evening/ night parking in Parking lots : 1) Free parking lot 2 min drive / 5-6 min walk 2) Paid lot 3 houses down, you can buy pass 20 doll per month in city hall (2 min drive) The space Our house is centrally located, only a 5 min walk from the main street. City hall (1 Locks Plaza, Mon Fri 9 am - 4 pm) to buy the parking pass is 5 min walk / under 2 min drive from the house, we are close to the city center. Lockport is conveniently located 20 miles east of Niagara Falls, one of the greatest natural wonders of the world, 25 miles northeast of Buffalo, 13 miles from Olcott Beach and 10 miles south of Lake Ontario. You'll be a short walk or drive to the following local attractions: ~Erie Canal Discovery Center (0.6 miles) ~Underground caves and boat ride (0.7 miles) ~Lockport Locks and Erie Canal Cruises (1 mile) ~Palace Theater (0.7 miles) ~Cornerstone Ice Arena Ice Skating Rink (0.9 miles) ~Flight of Five Winery (0.6 miles) ~Niagara Landing Wine Cellars (6.6 miles) Guest access You'll have the entire home to yourself, including our fully-equipped kitchen with breakfast table, 2 bedrooms, full bathroom and a large living room. The home has everything you'll need (sheets, towels, soap, shampoo, dishes, kitchen supplies, etc). Other things to note We make a strong effort to be as accurate as possible in our listing descriptions. Please note the following before booking: -Some people are surprised to find that parts of Lockport are somewhat rundown. This is not just an issue with this particular neighborhood. Despite this, the area is quite safe and we've not had safety issues here. - We DON'T HOST people who live LOCALLY (risk of parties) -This is a “budget” offering, NOT a luxury hotel. Nearby hotels of this size typically charge much more. This house was recently remodeled and furnished, but it’s an old home built in the early 1900s, so certain imperfections should be expected. We work hard to provide a great experience for our guests, but please have realistic expectations! -Some of the photos for this listing were shot by a photographer with professional equipment, which can cause the space to look larger and/or brighter than it actually is.
