The Forest Lodge

Unique forest retreat set right in the heart of 30,000 acres of The Royal Forest of Dean. With woodburners in the house to make you feel cosy and swings and a huge fire pit in the garden for some outdoor adventure close to home. For excitement further afield - explore the miles of cycle tracks right on the doorstep, canoe The Wye or visit the ancient caves and mines in the local area. Please enquire before making a reservation request The space There are 4 double bedrooms and 1 twin. All are ensuite. Then there is an annex cabin which has 1 double and two singles on a mezzanine floor. The cabin also has its own ensuite and its own little kitchenette and is heated with a woodburner. For reception rooms there is a small entrance lounge and then a giant lounge- diner room with the kitchen area at one end. This room leads out onto the patio deck which overlooks the garden. Guest access All of it Other things to note The site has an additional guest property, The Treehouse, which is completely separate from The Lodge. It has its own entrance and gardens and is to the far left of the site. But excessive noise can carry so we dont accept noisy groups and ask guests to respect each other's right to a peaceful weekend in the forest.
