Historic row house w/ modern amenities

This charming rowhouse with modern amenities was built in the late 1800s and is in the heart of Shaw. You'll be just blocks away from so many great places and in walking distance to Logan Circle, DuPont Circle, Chinatown / Gallery Place, the Convention Center, U Street, and more! The space This is our home (not a full-time Airbnb), so it feels like a home. We truly love our space and neighborhood, and it’s a joy to share it with guests! We’ve been honored to host many multi-generational family trips from families all over the world, groups of colleagues going to a conference nearby, and even chefs from a culinary school in Tuscany who hosted in-home dining seminars for other chefs! The house is stocked with many modern amenities (and baby items if you need them) and items that make it feel like home (nice mattresses, soft sheets, etc.). We love to eat and entertain, so you should have nearly any kitchen appliance available (sous vide, anyone?) and a well-stocked pantry. You’re welcome to use any of it during your stay. The one downside is that the closets and dressers are full of my family’s clothes and linens. Our home is close to many of DC’s top spots and central to the tourist attractions: - walk score 97 - 2 blocks to metro stop where you can take the Yellow Line to The Mall - 3 blocks to the Convention Center - 2 blocks to Oyster Oyster where the executive chef won the James Beard Award for Best Chef in the Country in 2023 - 3 blocks to Maxwell Park Wine Bar where the sommelier won Food & Wine’s national award for Sommelier of the Year - We are so lucky to be within a few blocks of SO many incredible restaurants (both fancy and cheap) and amazing bars (from Death and Co., a super posh cocktail bar, to the best neighborhood bars, Jake's Tavern and Ivy & Coney) - 6 blocks to DC’s legendary performance venues (Howard Theatre, Lincoln Theatre, 9:30 Club) - 1 block from a large park with a sizable splash pad, huge little-kids playground, and separate big-kids playground Please don't hesitate to send questions if you're wondering if my home would fit your needs!
