Era Borda - Charming Sheepfold at Lake Payolle

Era Borda comes from a family share, which we wanted to renovate and share with you... At the foot of the mythical Col d'Aspin and opposite Lake Payolle, this old exposed stone sheepfold welcomes you for a quiet, relaxing and authentic stay. Traditionally renovated with local materials, our gîte is equipped with all the comforts necessary for a hassle-free stay, with family or friends. You will be seduced by the gentle sound of the river! The space Era Borda is: • A large cocooning living room with heating stove, where you can spend good times sharing with family or friends, • A fully-equipped kitchen to prepare your best meals, even your raclette, • A shower room on the ground floor, and upstairs, the same for the toilet, • The necessities for your laundry, washing machine and dryer, • A bedroom on the ground floor with a double bed, • One upstairs bedroom with a double bed, • One bedroom with 3 single beds, • Baby essentials, • Many board games to occupy young and old, • A cozy terrace with views and sounds of the river, and barbecue. Towels, gloves, sheets and shower products are provided for each guest. For the most motivated of you, many hiking trails are within walking distance from the gîte, as well as in winter for sledding, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing. Numerous activities are possible in the surroundings, tree climbing, hiking bike, via ferrata, etc. This accommodation will also be a paradise for cyclists who will find many challenges in the area! Era Borda is located: • a few minutes walk from Petit Canada des Pyrénées, Lake Payolle • 15/20 minutes from Haut du Col d'Aspin • 25/30 minutes from La Mongie, the Grand Tourmalet ski resort • 25/30 minutes from Bagnères de Bigorre, with its mythical weekly market and many restaurants and shops. Guest access We only keep two rooms, to store cleaning supplies and wood. Outside you have a code-locked shelter to store pellets (7 bags per week included), bicycles or skis. Other things to note Era Borda is ideal for 7 people + 1 baby. Elderly people can be accommodated safely thanks to the ground floor bedroom. On the same level, the step-free shower room is equipped with a seat if needed, and the toilet has a bar to hold on to. :)
