River of Life Retreat

If you're looking for a peaceful, relaxing getaway, you will surely find it at this cozy cottage. It is nestled alongside the beautiful Mitchell River and yet is only a 10 minute drive to restaurants, shopping, and entertainment. We are also close to several vineyards and hiking. The space Whether you enjoy fishing, kayaking, tubing, hiking, or just relaxing and listening to the sound of the river- you can find it all here. The cottage has all the amenities you need to be comfortable. There is a fireplace with gas logs for those chilly nights and air conditioning for those warm days. We do have a gas grill and outdoor table. There will also be a microwave and a coffee machine for kcups. Side note- the bathroom has a shower that you can sit down(no bathtub). Guest access The entire cottage and area directly surrounding it will be your private space as our guest. Guests are encouraged to explore the 10 acre property that runs alongside the river and are welcome to fish in the ponds, but please note that it is a shared space with the property owners and our guests. Occasionally, we do have baptisms. We will let you know ahead if there is one scheduled. Our property runs approximately 1/3 of a mile along the Mitchell River. It is easily accessible in several places to be able to fish or kayak. We enjoy intertubing from one end of the property to the other. it is the perfect 20 minute lazy river ride. Other things to note We do have a few house rules. They are: no smoking, no pets, and no more than 2 guests.
