Description
Welcome to our holiday home Le Hibou. It is located on the small-scale holiday domain Aux Martis, in the beautiful countryside of the Lot-et-Garonne (on the border with the Dordogne). At the end of a gravel road and hidden among the old oaks, you imagine yourself in the middle of nature here. But: civilisation is always nearby and the holiday home is fully equipped. The terrace overlooks the valley and a small path leads to the swimming pool for a refreshing dip. The space The ground floor consists of: - the dining area with modern equipped kitchen: electric oven and induction hob, fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher - a sitting area overlooking the terrace and a sitting area by the wood stove (wonderfully cosy and warm during the colder months) - the bathroom (shower, washbasin) with toilet - two bedrooms: one bedroom with two single beds (90x200) and one bedroom with one large bed (160x200) From the living room a staircase leads to the mezzanine where there is a third bedroom with one single bed (90x200). On request we can provide a cot and/or a high chair for free. Bed linen is provided, bath linen is not. About 50 metres from the holiday home is a communal building where you can use a washing machine (free of charge) Other things to note The 5x13 metres swimming pool is a 30 meter walk from the house and is shared with guests from two other holiday homes on the domain and the possible campers of our mini-campsite (6 pitches). We want to be able to offer peace and quiet to everyone, both our guests in the holiday homes and our campers. Therefore, depending on the number of people already in our holiday homes and on the campsite, we sometimes choose not to occupy all our pitches. The pool is open from June to the end of September. The wood stove is the only form of heating. It is important to know how a wood stove works, then you will have no problem to get it nice and warm in the living spaces. This obviously does not offer the same comfort as central heating, keep this in mind. There are large differences in altitude on our property, so the walking paths can be steep. For those with reduced mobility, it is best to take this into account. The gîte is not wheelchair accessible.
