Vacation home reminder (175508)

Hello dear vacation seekers,   if you love nature and are looking for peace, you are in the right place in one of our cottages, here in Finsterbergen. Finsterbergen is a state-recognized healing climatic spa and a district of the city of Friedrichroda. Friedrichroda is a small town that belongs to the district of Gotha and is located on the northern slope of the Thuringian Forest. Other things to note Holiday home "Remembrance" The cottage reminder, with a size of about 60sqm has a large kitchen-living room with tiled stove, bathroom with shower , 2 bedrooms and a small covered balcony. Also via a small covered terrace with a barbecue in front of the house. Maximum occupancy: 5 people. Surroundings  Due to its idyllic location, Finsterbergen offers an ideal starting point for hikes without disruptive car traffic. Finsterbergen offers plenty of signposted hiking trails (90 km), but also numerous winter hiking trails with groomed trails.  The highlight in Finsterbergen is the beautiful outdoor swimming pool with its giant slide and its small sports facilities such as mini golf, volleyball and the Großschachfeld.  But also numerous attractions and cool leisure activities for the whole family are close by.  Shopping in the village are butchers, bakers and a small village shop, the nearest large shopping halls are located in Friedrichroda (about 6 kilometers away). There is a restaurant right in the village, many more restaurants are located in Friedrichroda. For our little guests, there is a climbing tower directly on the property with climbing wall, swing and slide. During the winter months, a small slope on the property is perfect for tobogganing. A bocce playing field is planned and will also be available free of charge from spring 2023.  The great outdoor swimming pool is only 150m away from our houses. ATTENTION: it is a forest property, no winter service.
