Salenberghof Ferienwohnung Panorama
Vacation apartment "Panorama"
Description
The modernly furnished 5-star apartment "Panorama" keeps what the name promises: A breathtaking panoramic view of the Allgäu mountains and the turquoise blue glittering Forggensee! The largest apartment on our Salenberghof, measuring 97 m², can accommodate up to 4 vacation guests. For your laundry there is a washing machine and dryer room, which is available 24/7. Use is subject to a fee. Other things to note At the Salenberghof, all animals have names On our family-run organic farm, all animals have names and are kept in a species-appropriate manner. Every animal has very different needs and we take these into account without exception! The welfare of the animals is our top priority and we spare no effort to enable our animals to have a good life into old age. In a beautiful, sunny location with impressive mountain and lake views, female cattle (no dairy cows), cuddly sheep, cheeky rabbits, nimble guinea pigs, our adventurous cat Bert and the dear farm dog Aira have found a very beautiful home! Here you can get a picture of our animals and hopefully get to know them soon in real life! Our tip for families: All animal encounters should always be accompanied by the watchful eyes of parents or grandpa/grandma. So your children, but also our farm animals can have unforgettable beautiful experiences and really enjoy the encounters! Enjoy the sun and the lush grass Here, not only vacation guests enjoy the sun. From May to October, our cowshed is empty, because in summer the cattle enjoy the lush fresh grass directly on the pastures around the Salenberghof. You can find two breeds with us: the Fleckvieh and the Allgäuer Braunvieh. The keeping of the animals is regularly checked and the strict requirements for organic certification are not only met but exceeded by us. Do you already know our "rodent flat"? The spacious barn for rabbits and guinea pigs is a great way for holiday guests and farm animals to meet! Children can visit the rodent apartment accompanied by their parents or grandpa/grandma around the clock and pet our cute rodents. In the beautiful enclosure, a colorful mixture of guinea pigs and giant rabbits romp around in summer and winter. A species-appropriate keeping of the animals is guaranteed with us: Our trusting rodents can hide in wooden houses, explore the terrain and the tunnels and have plenty of space to play with each other. Unlike hares, rabbits build corridors and they love to burrow! That's why it was very important to us to offer the animals many opportunities to live out this natural behavior. The guinea pigs even have a separate compartment where they can retreat if they want some peace and quiet. This way, a really harmonious "shared life" can take place - with many beautiful encounters between animals and humans. Our farm animals are allowed to enjoy their lives to the fullest and age with dignity. Counting curious sheep The lovely Allgäu mountain sheep Klara, Heidi and Harald can be found with their fluffy friends most of the time grazing on the meadow in front of the open stable. In addition to the mountain sheep, we also keep Cameroon sheep, Carinthian stone sheep and Ouessant sheep. Did you know that Ouessant sheep are the smallest sheep breed in Europe and that Cameroon sheep are not shorn? Our Carinthian stone sheep, on the other hand, are known for their beautiful mixed wool and are unfortunately on the red list. By keeping the Krainer sheep, we support the preservation of an endangered breed! A mixed herd was the best choice for us to give you as a holiday guest a little insight into the variety of sheep breeds! Our velvet paw on a discovery tour "Meow, I'm Tomcat Bert from Salenberghof and I love to laze in the sun!" When our cat is not just roaming over the farm and exploring the area, he prefers to be with our grandmother Rosi at the tiled stove and makes himself really comfortable. A lovely loner who has been complementing our farm family for many years! An animal story: Our farm dog "Aira" Many years ago, our dear farm dog "Aira" made her way from Spain to the beautiful Allgäu via a recognized animal welfare organization. She has been with us on the farm since her "youth days" and has enriched our everyday farm life with her lovely, lively nature ever since. If she is not accompanying farmer Stefan or farmer Stefanie, she walks freely around the farm. She is happy about being petted, but - like you and me - she does not like to be annoyed! The total price includes final cleaning and linen and towels. If you spend more than ten nights with us, you can get a free towel and linen change. Please make an appointment with us.
