Guest Suite: Pet Friendly, Parking, Near Airport

Convenient location near Dulles Airport (IAD) and metro to DC, also close to breweries and national parks! We welcome guests into a private suite on the 1st floor of our home. We live in the 2nd floor upstairs part of the house, and you can hear us and our two kids, more on noise in the description below. Pets welcome, no fee! This above ground suite has a Queen bed, living area, full bath, fridge, Keurig, laundry, and microwave. No carpeting . Plenty of parking, groceries, and dining nearby! The space This is a spacious, enclosed guest suite on the ground floor of a family home with lots of light from windows!There is a shared entry through the front door, and then a second lockable door to the Airbnb suite. We have two active kids, a 5yo and 2yo. You’ll be able to hear them during your stay. If you don’t mind hearing the pitter patter of little feet, then this is the place for you! We take pride in our Airbnb space and really appreciate the value our small short-term rental business brings to our family! The space includes a queen bed, full bath with shower, couches, microwave, keurig, full refrigerator, laundry, all sheets/towels/soap provided. Details on louder hours: louder hours are weekdays 630-715am when we get kids ready and out the door for school and you should expect some level of kid noise from 330-9pm, but sometimes we aren’t home. Guest noise: we don’t mind noise at all. We do kindly request no loud music from 10pm-9am. Parking: please park in the space on the street directly in front of our house. If you need or prefer space in the driveway, please let us know we are happy to provide one side of the driveway if you let us know. There is also additional parking along the street at the bottom of the church hill directly across the street from our house. Heat&A/C: There is only one thermostat for the house. If you are cold or hot please let me know - we want you to be comfortable! Everyone has different preferences. We generally keep our house around 72 and request you keep windows closed if heat or ac is on. In the in between months when weather is mild we usually keep windows open. We are happy to adjust the temperature, just let us know! Pets: For walking dogs - our neighborhood has plenty of sidewalks and a large green space directly across the street. We do not have a pet fee. We love dogs, but don’t have any pets ourselves. Please let me know about any damages right away so I can make sure to have a plan to fix things before our next guests. Cleaning: We do our very best to provide top notch cleanliness, with a standard cleaning routine and disinfecting thoroughly between each guest. However, as we allow pets and it can be difficult to remove all pet hair from couches. We regularly vacuum couches to maintain a cleaner area. Guest access You'll have full access to the entire private guest suite. You'll also have access to the front yard and street parking (driveway parking upon request). You will not have access to the upstairs area where we live.
