Two hundred and sixty feet of private, seawall-protected Lake Michigan beachfront await you at the 3.5 acres at the end of a winding, tree-lined drive throughout this wooded dune. Built in 1935, this charming home features original tongue and groove woodwork throughout. This cottage provides everything you need to take advantage of this beautiful, natural setting . The space “PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS PROPERTY DOES NOT HAVE AIR CONDITIONING.” The main floor features a spacious living and dining area with plenty of options to gather together or break away for quiet conversation. Step out to the roomy, attached lake-facing screened porch for your morning coffee or cozy up in the evening to watch the famous Lake Michigan sunsets. Plan your daily meals in the roomy kitchen and step out to the second attached screened porch where you will find plenty of room to serve everyone at the spacious farmhouse dining table. A convenient main floor bedroom with a full bed and separate full bath completes this floor. Wander upstairs where you will find a lake-facing bedroom with two twins, a bunk room with one set of twin bunks and an additional twin bed, and a fabulous master bedroom with a king bed, twin daybed, half bath, and amazing private sundeck overlooking the shoreline. An additional full bath completes this floor. Other things to note “PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS PROPERTY DOES NOT HAVE AIR CONDITIONING.” *Also note that this home does not have a washer/dryer on site. The fire place is purely decorative and not for guest use. While there is no air conditioning, the lake breeze is cooler in the evening.* PARKING Parking is located in the large gravel area next to the home. This can fit approximately 4-6 vehicles. CANCELLATION POLICY - To receive a full refund, you must cancel within 24 hours of booking, and the cancellation must occur at least 7 days before check-in. - If cancellation is made at least 30 days before check-in, you will receive a full refund. - If cancellation is made between 7 and 30 days before check-in, you will receive a 50% refund. - If cancellation is made less than 7 days before check-in, there is no refund.
