Our stylish and top rated cabins (400+ 5 stars) have beautiful forest views, kitchens, and many curated amenities. We are 7 minutes by car from downtown/airport. The space Black Spruce is built on a small, rocky forested lot at the back corner of a commercial subdivision near the Alaska highway. Enjoy rustic hiking trails in the undeveloped city park behind the cabins. This park includes a pond, rocky cliffs, and one of Whitehorse's favorite rock climbing areas! The cabins feature a full kitchen, compact bathroom with shower (our bathrooms are small!), loveseat, and medium-firm queen size bed. Amenities include curated board games, reading materials, wood-fired organic coffee from Atlin, a selection of organic teas, indigenous art, bluetooth speaker, and high speed internet. As a commitment to sustainability, Black Spruce features GOTs organic certified linens and towels, as well as bulk natural and organic soaps and cleaning materials. Guest access Black Spruce is 7 minutes by car to downtown Whitehorse and 6 minutes to the airport. There is a transit on the hour and taxis are readily available. 24 hours before your booking you'll receive a key code for your door. Guests access the cabins from a central 100 foot cedar boardwalk which leads to a shared deck amenity space, fire pit and sauna. Parking is available onsite. As our parking lot is small, larger vehicles should park at the front of the property. Other things to note Sauna use is booked through the link provided in the reservation confirmation notice. Sauna use is limited to two people, and an hour of use per booking. There is also a fire pit available at the property. We are able to provide car rentals, Air North flights from wherever they fly, and tours in addition to accommodation. Please contact us for more information. There are no amenities available within walking distance, so groceries and supplies are best bought downtown. Traveling with an infant? We have a crib you can borrow!
