The space It has two very spacious rooms, with a queen and king size bed, a closet, two full bathrooms (one with a large chukum bathtub, a traditional and ancestral pigment of the region extracted from the root of the Chukum tree), high ceilings, an equipped kitchen, a laundry room, a pleasant living room and an open and covered dining room. In the fire pit area you can enjoy a delicious dinner while watching the stars and listening to the sounds of nature. It has a composter and recycling space, bricolin (exclusive for use by children), swing and toys for children, high chair, cribs, child seat for the car. We have board games, essential oil diffuser, speaker and private parking. It is surrounded by 2500 meters of jungle and gardens bordered by a beautiful stone fence, which extends to the spectacular Mayan jungle... where you can see monkeys, toucans, fireflies, hummingbirds, orchids and much more native fauna and vegetation that will add joy and light to your stay, connected to the world by good WiFi. Guest access Our co-host Esteban will make an explanatory video on how to get to the property. We are in a safe and very quiet neighborhood where 5 other families live. You will enter the neighborhood through a wooden gate with a padlock and you will be provided with the password before arriving. Please keep the door closed at all times. You can stroll through the jungle and enjoy it, go tracking, or use our mountain bike. Other things to note The house runs on solar energy and an ecological wastewater treatment system, so we ask our guests to be mindful of the energy and products they use. It is in the heart of the jungle, 6 minutes from the village of Francisco Uh May, by dirt road, bringing your own car will make the trip easier, but if it is not possible, we have trusted people with motorcycle taxis who can transport you to the village. Lola, our adopted dog, will take care of you and yours and give you a lot of affection during your stay. She will stay in the garden area, you just need to take care of your food on the grill!!! ;) (Let us know if this bothers you and we can fix it). Our trusted maintenance guy will take care of feeding the pet. Being at home will be a unique and pleasant experience. The friends who have visited us have been delighted to disconnect from external and internal noise and connect with their essence in this magical place. Something to keep in mind is that the house is thoroughly cleaned before your arrival. However, you may occasionally find some insects or small animals from the area inside, since we are in the jungle and it is also their home. Just use a container to put them outside.
