Description

Chalet Rapha is a restored centenarian house, a mere 90 steps from the famed ocean boardwalk of Estoril-Cascais. This home has been lovingly restored and is debuting on Airbnb. The home boasts views of the local beach (you can check the waves breaking at Poca beach), a large south-facing veranda, 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, entrance seating area, large living room and high end kitchen appliances. There's not enough space to fully do it justice but rest assured you will enjoy your stay! The space This home is full of architectural character, with all the modern updates making it a beautiful place to stay. The home is on two levels: the first floor has a small sitting area/foyer, fully equipped kitchen and dining area - all open concept. Down the corridor you'll find an en-suite bedroom with walk-in closet and small bathroom (with shower) and another lovely bedroom with new twin beds. The laundry room is located in the back adjacent to a large bathroom with a full bathtub. The second floor or attic is a huge space that was split into a master bedroom, adjacent bathroom and living room area. The queen sized bed, fitted wardrobes and sitting area make this a very comfortable bedroom. The living room faces the ocean, and it's hard to find a spot on the couch without a view of the blue ocean and Estoril boardwalk. The chalet was renovated in 2022 and all fixtures are brand new. The home also boasts high ceilings keeping it cool in the summer, while the half metre thick walls mean the temperature is well regulated in all seasons. Solar panels heat the 300 litre water tank and there are plans to make this home even more environmentally sustainable with electrical solar panels by 2023. Guest access Guests access the home using the communal front gate and main front door. The stairs leading up to the apartment door belong to the apartment. To note: the garden belongs to the apartment on the ground floor. Other things to note There is weekly gardening maintenance and you will get to know the neighbours quickly as it is a small cul-de-sac with few homes, all of which gives a feeling of safety and community.
