Perfect location! A historic two bedroom welcoming rowhome on Capitol Hill. Good for couples, families with 1-2 children over 5 years old, & business travelers. Parking permit can be ordered online. Just 3 blocks to the historic Eastern Market and 5 blocks to the Eastern Market Metro Station. Short walk to the Capitol the National Mall. The home has 2 queen beds, 1.5 baths, sofa bed, WiFi, Sling cable TV & the cozy kitchen has Keurig coffee-maker, microwave, toaster, and dishes/utensils. The space The rowhouse is used as a tranquil research & writing studio by Candace when it is not being used as a guest house. The bathroom is on the 2nd floor (15 steps) next to the bedrooms. The decor is modern farmhouse and many of the original features have been kept. Guest access You will have keyless entry access and will be given your personal key code prior to arrival for private access to the row house. Other things to note Smoking of any kind either inside or outside is not allowed. Quiet hours are 11 pm until 6:30 am daily. Umbrellas and bike helmets are available for use while visiting. I ask that guests remove their shoes upon entering and a shoe tray is provided by the front door to store your shoes. Though I adore all pets, because of allergies, pets are not allowed inside. The house is monitored with a Security System.
