Nestled in a quiet setting surrounded by large pine trees, this cottage-like home is a short drive to everything: Downtown East Lansing: 10 min. MSU campus: 10 min. Downtown Lansing: 15 min. Okemos: 6 min. Lake Lansing Park: 4 min. Starbucks: 7 min. Costco: 2 min. This is an older house (built in 1800), so it is more "basic" than a modern "upscale" property. We've tried to anticipate your needs for a short stay. Don't hesitate to text us if you need anything not already provided. The space The home is a renovated older duplex. Both apartments are managed as short-term rentals. This apartment has a large entry with a small coat closet, chair, and credenza. The bathroom has 2 sinks, a typical tub/shower, and a semi-private toilet nook. The larger bedroom offers a queen-size traditional spring type mattress, with a nightstand one side and a small table on the otherside, each with an easy access plug for your phone charger. The bedroom is adjacent to the kitchen. The kitchen leads to the dining room and living room in succession. The smaller bedroom has a double bed.The bed is a tight fit with one side against the wall, but it also has a small side table with an easy to reach plug. Guest access Each apartment has a separate entrance conviently located near the parking area. The door has a keyless entry. Other things to note Minimum age to make a reservation is 21. The fire pit is available for our guests. We just ask that someone remain in attendance at all times when a fire is burning. When finished please douse all fire and embers. Wood is available under the pines near the fire pit. An outside faucet with a hose is located on the driveway side of the house. Local township rules require that the fire be extinguished by midnight.
