The living room is equipped with a wood burning fireplace, perfect for a cozy night. The fully stocked kitchen will make mealtime a breeze with everything you may need. The bedrooms are comfortable beds (according to our many reviews) and equipped with extra comforters and with all the necessary linens to ensure a good night's sleep. Nestled in a residential neighborhood, it provides a peaceful escape while still being close to town and outdoor activities. As a pet-friendly space, we do our best to remove pet hair before each stay, but guests with allergies may encounter minimal traces. All bedding is freshly laundered, though comforter and sheet colors may vary from listing photos. Being in a mountain community means wildlife and occasional insects are part of the experience. We have regular pest control services, but nature is always nearby. Altitude Reminder: Big Bear is located at over 6,700 feet above sea level, and some guests may experience mild altitude sickness — especially if they’re not used to higher elevations. Common symptoms include headaches, fatigue, dizziness, or trouble sleeping. Staying hydrated and taking it easy the first day can help.
