Fishing, kayaking, and crabbing, are just a few of the activities available at this secluded island getaway. This is the perfect family vacation setting for the outdoor enthusiast and the best place to "unplug" and relax! Bring your boat, paddleboards, and kayaks, enjoy fishing, and savor the sunsets over the water from the dock or the screen porch. Also, squeeze in a few days at the beach which is a short 4.7 miles away. The space The house, which we affectionately call the Store Creek Yacht Club, is located on 5 acres of land on Store Creek and there is plenty of room for children to run and play. The dock is equipped with a floating jet dock that can handle most 20 foot boats. We have 6 feet of water at high tide and are dry at low tide. Store Creek is quiet, serene, and loaded with fish, crabs, oysters, and clams. The birdwatching is spectacular. New for the 2020 season we now have a roof over the dock and wooden benches to enjoy the amazing creek and marsh views. The Store Creek Yacht Club has separate upstairs and downstairs units with each having their own kitchen and bathroom. It is perfect for two families or families and grandparents/friends. The upstairs has three bedrooms (queen, queen and double, two sets of bunkbeds) and one bathroom and the downstairs has two bedrooms (king and queen) and one bathroom. Both kitchens are fully stocked to cook whatever you catch from the creek or from the local fishmonger. If you need sheets and towels (or kayaks) please call Edisto Essentials. This is a special place! Other things to note BED LINENS AND TOWELS ARE NOT PROVIDED. Please call Edisto Essentials if you would like to rent sheets and/or towels. The house is on a well and like most wells in the lower part of South Carolina there is a smell of sulfur. It will not hurt to drink it but you will be happier with the bottled water which we provide via five gallon water cooler jugs in both the upstairs and downstairs kitchens.
