The space On the edge of the nature reserve "Ampermoos" Grafrath is conveniently located near the highway Munich-Lindau and on the suburban train line 4 Geltendorf-Munich. The special charm of the village is its location. It was formed at the point where the outflowing water of the Ammersee glacier broke through the terminal moraine wall and over the centuries cut deeply into the wall as the Amper. Still before the Amper breakthrough lies the original Grafrath with its pilgrimage church, then follow in the narrow valley and on the bank heights to the right and left of the Amper the districts Unteralting and Mauern, Wildenroth and Höfen.
