Fishing, hunting, disc golf, boating, biking/hiking/horse/archery trails, and outdoor recreation are a few of the near by area to do's. Yankton, SD is a short 10 minute drive to enjoy dining, historic downtown, shopping & nightlife. Peaceful, quiet and scenic; what is not to love about this newly renovated cozy home! The Cardinal house boasts of bright and beautiful cardinal themed décor. This 3 bedroom 2 bath home comes with the enjoyment of the generous sized enclosed sun porch area with view of Lewis & Clark Lake and wildlife (deer, turkey, and yes …even cardinals!) frequenting the property. Take a quiet nap, indulge in the jacuzzi tub after the fun in the sun or be ready to cook up a feast with friends and family in the kitchen or outdoor grill. Finish the day with nature outside and enjoy a glass of wine or cocktail with the extensive outdoor space with patio seating and fire pit. If this sounds like a little piece of paradise; The Cardinal house is definitely for you! A visit to the house of Mary Shrine touches all faiths. Chapel is available daily for quiet prayer. Catholic Church services are available third Saturday of each month at 8am at the House of Mary Shrine. Enjoy a walk through the history of the saints located directly across from the The Cardinal House. For outdoor recreation, rentals (jet ski, boat, kayak, bicycles) are available within a few minute drive along with convenient stores for any last minute items and bar and grill dining. Lewis and Clark Rec area is right across the highway. Initial supplies provided such as coffee, paper towels, toiletries for each guest. Thereafter we ask additional usage supplies needed are responsibility of guest.
