Knotty Pine Lodge is an open concept beautiful and spacious retreat offering both privacy and luxury amenities. Located on the Cabot Trial, nearing hiking trails, golf clubs, beaches, kayaking, paddle boarding, whale watching, snowmobile trails and the "MUST VISIT" Cape Breton Highlands National Park. The solid wood lodge sits on a large private wooded lot that features a 1300 ft driveway, manicured lawn, spectacular panoramic mountain & ocean views and astonishing star-gazing at night. The space The main entrance opens directly into a large, open-concept kitchen and dining area, anchored by a gas fireplace and framed by great views. The kitchen features a large island with four stools, offering plenty of space to drop groceries, prep meals, or gather casually. This central space is ideal for cooking and spending time together. A separate, larger living room sits just off the kitchen, providing an additional area to relax. The home features one fully enclosed bedroom on the main floor, offering a quiet, private retreat. Upstairs, a warm and inviting loft-style mezzanine creates a unique sleeping space that’s ideal for families or groups: * A bunk area at the top of the stairs featuring queen-size bunk beds * A spacious sleeping zone with a double bed and two twin beds The loft is open and airy, adding to the character of the space, while a full-length curtain at one end allows for optional privacy when needed. For convenience, there are half bathrooms on either end of the mezzanine, along with a separate shower located on the far end. This layout strikes a balance between togetherness and personal space—perfect for groups looking to relax, connect, and enjoy the setting without feeling crowded.
