An idyllic place high above Lake Constance, with plenty of space for up to 10 people (6 adults and 4 children) . Our bright and cozy house is in a unique location that is in a unique location. House and private, large garden with incredibly beautiful views far over the lake and the hills of the Appenzellerland offer a lot of privacy. Our house is particularly suitable for groups and family holidays. The space What makes our house so special is the incredible views and the quiet location on the sun terrace above Lake Constance. The natural garden with wide views over the hills of Appenzellerland invites you to a relaxed apero under the Chriesi tree, while the children find enough space to let off steam. If the weather doesn't quite play along, there is still the veranda or the sunny kitchen-living room with a large dining table. In addition, there is a spacious living room with lake view at ground level and a stübli, which can also be converted into a bedroom. On the first floor, there are two large bedrooms with balcony access and a smaller one with morning sun, each equipped with a double bed or two single beds and natural wood floor. In addition, there is the children's paradise in the attic with four bunk beds and plenty of space to play and romp. The many friendly rooms and the large garden with veranda offer enough privacy for a relaxing holiday even for two to three families. Directly from the house there are numerous beautiful hiking trails, forests and meadows to discover. Pure nature holidays - and yet comfortable, which makes our house See in sight. Guest access The house with a complete garden is available for private use. Other things to note Our house is located in the middle of the idyllic Appenzell Voralpenland and is ideal for hiking holidays with the whole family. There are numerous beautiful hiking trails with cozy picnic areas in the nearest area - always with the impressive view far over Lake Constance. If you want to go higher, you drive a bit (under 1 hour) and hike towards Säntis or in the Grisons Alps. There are also numerous other excursion options. Here are just a few examples: In about 15 minutes (by car) there are beautiful swimming opportunities on Lake Constance. In the Biedermeier town of Heiden, 2 km away, you will find a listed swimming pool from the 1920s. It is about 20 minutes to the UNESCO World Heritage Site Monastery St. Gallen with the beautiful old town. A perfect day trip with children is a short hike directly from the house to Heiden (about 30 minutes), from there by Rorschach Heiden-Bahn (in summer nostalgia train with steam locomotive) to Rorschach, then either swimming or a boat trip across the lake to Lindau and back in the evening (variant by boat to Rheineck and then with another cable car to Walzenhausen, back from there by post bus or small hike). In case of bad weather, a trip to the beautiful thermal bath in Bad Ragaz or the nearby Bad Unterrechstein is recommended. Shopping is available in the village (Volg), 1 km away, or in Heiden (Coop).
