Mrs. Grace Mather-Smith shook our sleepy little town up in her day, and became one of our town's most beloved icons for her generosity, style and eccentricity. The historic mansion was carefully renovated , preserving the historic craftsman-style. Enter the gracious home to find a dramatic grand staircase and foyer. Throughout the home are abundant large windows, bringing in natural light and views of the beautiful oak trees that are hundreds of years old. The 700 sq. ft. lakeside porch has been the site of many social gatherings, weddings and retreats. Walk a short distance to the pier and enjoy a beautiful sunset on Lake Apopka. Other things to note A resident inn keeper (at your service but never in your way) is located on property. There are no shared spaces with the inn keeper and she will not enter your space unless there is an emergency or at your request to accommodate any needs you may have.
