The sun-drenched 2-room apartment with the wellness bath upstairs and the ground floor with the large room, as well as the well-equipped kitchen and the fireplace room. The basement is privately used by us as a storage room - but has a separate entrance from the back, so that our guests have their peace and quiet. Since we feel very attached to the Hawaiian tradition, we have dedicated the house (= HALE) to the ALOHA spirit of the islands. Once you come you will definitely feel this. You can book a Hawaiian Lomi Lomi Nui massage on site. The cozy non-smoking house has a fantastic view of the garden and the landscape. Through the large windows, you will be spoiled by a lot of light and possibly sun. And if the sun does not shine, the fireplace can give you warmth and comfort (wood can be purchased from us). Due to the location of the house on a hill, you have a kilometer-wide view of the landscape of the Westensee nature reserve. A modern bathroom with bathtub and wellness shower is on the upper floor and a modern shower room on the ground floor. A refrigerator is located in the ground floor kitchen - another small one in the kitchenette of the studio room. Thanks to the small ice compartment of the upper refrigerator, a few frozen foods can be brought along. The balcony is large enough for two people. Equipped with two comfortable chairs. Sun loungers are available in the house. On the terrace you can barbecue or sit by the fire by arrangement. In the balcony room, we use the sofa bed in the living room. Most guests are very satisfied with the surprisingly good sleeping comfort and the degree of softness. We deliberately do not have a TV. The guests who want to stay with us for a while appreciate the peace and quiet, love to finally read a good book in peace, meditate, or simply enjoy the silence. For music in the room, we offer PC speakers for the smartphone, tablet or laptop you brought with you. Via our approx. 40 Mbps Wi-Fi, you have access to the Internet and thus various multimedia offers. We manage the house and garden as ecologically and sustainably as possible: wind power green electricity, LED lamps and organic detergents, as well as accessible by public transport (train + bus), waste avoidance, recycling, upcycling, organic + regional food (breakfast). We do care about healthy living. Therefore, we have a lot of solid wood and natural materials, such as the oiled plank floor on the upper floor. For your physical well-being, a 2-liter bottle of delicious, filtered and vitalized tap water awaits you every day. The kitchenette (pantry) upstairs is fully equipped with sink, fridge with freezer, stove, oven, toaster, coffee press (Bodum principle), salt & spices, egg timer, blender, pots, pans... The kitchen on the ground floor offers everything a cook's heart desires. Even a steamer and a large dishwasher. We deliberately did not have a dishwasher in the upper apartment. Most guests have so little dishes that we preferred to use the space for storage. We wanted to realize a kitchenette in this studio space that doesn't really look like a kitchen. Other things to note Our house is a non-smoking home, but if you want to smoke, you have the option to do so in a seat assigned to you in the garden. In and around the house itself, we appreciate clean and pleasant-smelling air. In our private house (next door) live two cats and a dog who like to wander around the garden.
