University of Lynchburg and Centra are 20 min away, 15 min to Appomattox Courthouse & 1 hour to hike the Blue Ridge Mountains. Guests can enjoy a fire pit, large yard with field views, porch swing, and beautiful sunrises and sunsets. The space This AirBNB is on a quiet 13 acre tract of land with beautiful panoramic field views providing a perfect setting for rest and tranquility while still being close to Lynchburg. This space is perfect for getaways, vacation, LU intensive classes, Liberty University/University of Lynchburg/Sweet Briar/Randolph college visits, traveling health care professionals, or overnight stays. You will have private access to the second floor of the home which includes two rooms. The entrance is a shared entrance. The upstairs is controlled by its own heat pump which is separate from the unit for the main living space. You will have your own thermostat, which you can adjust to your liking. This listing offers two bedrooms: one with a queen-sized bed, sofa which pulls out to a twin bed, two bedside tables with lamps, a closet with clothes hangers, iron and ironing board, two dressers, private workspace with desk, and a bathroom. the bathroom has a toilet, shower/tub, sink, and an exhaust fan. The second bedroom offers a living area/TV space and two twin beds, bedside tables with lamps, and an armoire for storage of belongings. Free Wi-fi is available. There is a coffee maker with coffee provided, electric hot water kettle, creamer/sugar, coffee cups, mini fridge, and plastic utensils provided in the upstairs space for your convenience. Queen-sized bed is very comfortable for a good night's sleep. Guest access We do live here full time. We also do have one cat that lives in the shared space. The front covered porch is a great area for relaxing with ample seating area and a gas grill. We do have an alarm system which is powered by SimpliSafe. There is private free parking in the driveway beside the front covered porch. There are three steps to enter the home, and one flight of stairs to ascend to the private second floor bedrooms. This is our primary residence, and we do ask that you be courteous, cleanly, and respectful. We can provide you with directions to the many beautiful hikes in the area as well as recommendations for fun things to see and do. Access to the James River and a kayak/canoe put in is 7 minutes from this listing. During your stay We will be in touch/available for contact throughout your stay by phone or messaging on Airbnb. Upon checkout/exiting, please lock the dead bolt on the front door and place the key under the front door welcome mat.
