This spacious 2900 sq ft home is on a quiet street with a spectacular view of the Wyoming Mountains and the town of Evanston. Take a short scenic drive to experience world class skiing, shopping and dining, then return to the quiet of a small town and escape the hustle and bustle of a big city and an added bonus, only 77 miles to SLC International Airport, an 1 1/2 hour drive! In the summer months enjoy excellent fishing, hiking, biking & ATV riding, just a short distance to the south along the scenic Mirror Lake Byway in the Uintah Mountains. During the winter months enjoy snowmobiling and cross country skiing, where the road closes near the Bear River Lodge, from there you can experience breathtaking views and scenery unseen from the main road. You might even spot the occasional foraging deer, elk or antelope and other forest wildlife. Take a short drive to Park City, UT near the end of January to experience Sundance Movie Festival or ski the greatest snow on earth. During summer months there is an Alpine Slide, a Zip Line, Mountain Biking or just exploring the area. A short distance north is beautiful Bear Lake where you can boat, swim or just take in the sun. The Evanston area is surrounded by history all within close proximity are; the Fossil Butte National Monument, historic Piedmont Charcoal Kilns and the ghost town on Piedmont and historic Fort Bridger. For those wanting extended stays, Evanston is located within a days drive to the following: scenic Wind River Mountain for hiking/back packing/fishing, the Town of Jackson picturesque and tucked in a valley surrounded by mountains and the gateway to; Grand Teton National Park home of the great Teton Mountain Range, Yellowstone National Park, America's very first National Park. This three level home boasts a main level living space with a cozy gas fireplace and a half bath. The kitchen and dining room is also located on the main level with access to a deck that runs the full length of the house, (no ground access). The kitchen is fully equipped and has a breakfast nook/sunroom. The laundry room is nestled just off the kitchen, as is access to the 2-car garage. The upper level includes 2 guest bedrooms with a Queen bed in each, sharing a full bathroom and a master bedroom with a Queen bed and a master bath. The lower level has been recently renovated to include an additional bedroom with a California King bed and a full bath as well as a family/entertainment room with walk out access to the back yard and covered patio. To be clear, there are 4 beds that will sleep 2 people, if guest do not mind sharing the bed. Take a leisurely stroll from the Bear River Greenway to the Bear River State Park, enjoy the wildlife in the area and the beautiful streams, or take the walking tour of historic downtown Evanston, enjoy a cocktail at one of the local watering holes or dinner at one of the fine restaurants. Evanston has a newly renovated movie house showing great movies. Evanston does not have public transportation, however there are two taxi companies in town (Chicken Run (307) 677-1518 & Classy Taxi (307) 789-0833). Evanston is not a big city so walking, or biking in the summer is the best way to get around in Evanston.
