Villa Rita is a historic residence dating back to between 1400 and 1500 located in a small village called Noce, located in the municipality of Vicopisano in the province of Pisa. The furniture has been created with care and attention, and in the same way our staff will take care of the people who live there. Have you ever thought about really living in a movie? We hope so, because our home will take you back in time! The space The villa has been carefully restored, preserving the charm and warmth of a bygone era. At one time, this residence was disputed between Florentine and Pisan families, from the Lanfreducci of Florence to the Lanfranchi and the Scotto Mosca of Pisa in the fifteenth century. All the coats of arms of these families are still in the entrance hall on the ground floor. The property retains original terracotta furnishings and floors, as well as sixteenth-century frescoes by Ghirlanda, also active in the monumental Camposanto and other palaces in Pisa. The villa has large outdoor spaces, perfect for relaxing after a long day of sightseeing in the nearby medieval village of Vicopisano or the famous Certosa di Calci. Two large doors lead you to a beautiful garden with a kiosk with a table for a breakfast, a great dinner or simply to read a book accompanied by the singing of birds. Upon request, a camping bed can be provided to accommodate even the youngest visitors. At the foot of the Pisan mountains, the three-bedroom apartment of Villa Rita has a privileged position: a few steps away you will find the medieval village of Vicopisano and the Certosa di Calci, but Pisa, San Miniato, San Gimignano, Florence, Lucca, Montecatini and Volterra are all between 15 and 60 minutes by car, while Pisa airport is 15 minutes away by car. The restaurant, La Vecchia Noce, is adjacent to the property or, within walking distance, you will find some restaurants or pizzerias that will delight you with typical Tuscan cuisine. In the immediate vicinity, within walking distance, you can reach the Terme di Uliveto park where there are tennis courts and a swimming pool that can be used in the summer months.
